It is possible that this person or people may also be the person delegated to oversee the maintenance of the fire safety measures for your setting.
It is, therefore, essential that the training these individuals receive will best prepare them to act instinctively in what is, undeniably a highly dynamic and stressful situation.

Fire Marshal Training Syllabus
Our fire marshal training course builds on our basic fire safety, fire evacuation, and fire extinguisher training courses. the course will allow the attendee to fulfil the role described in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 article 18
Who should attend?
Depending on the size of your organization you may want several fire marshals. You should plan to have at least one fire marshal on the premises at all times. Before attending this course the student should have previously undertaken fire safety training
How long is it
In most cases this training will be completed within four hours
What topics are covered?
This course covers fire safety in more detail, based on case studies. It also touches on human behaviour and human factors. The course includes practical sessions for firefighting and evacuation.
How much does it cost?
The standard course delivered at your venue costs £400 for up to 12 delegates. We also run open courses at our training centre in West Yorkshire for £50 per delegate
